Who is Birdie?

A sweet friend who recently passed away. She used to own a family restaurant where she would feed neighbors, friends, and family. She was the inspiration to open the Bakestand to serve friends and neighbors locally, and to gather together.

What is a Bakestand?

Well, technically, it might be a made up word, but it is a stand where you can buy baked goods, refreshing drinks, and sweet treats. See our menu for details.

Where are you located?

Lexington, KY. Contact for exact location or look for signs in the neighborhood when we are open.

What are your hours?

They vary with our schedule and the weather. See our homepage for upcoming hours or any special events. If it’s storming- we will be closed.

We are a busy family with regular jobs, sports practices, games, and random obligations. We want to have fun and serve our neighbors at least monthly if we can.

Can I bring my dog?

Of course! Well behaved, leashed dogs are welcome. We have cool water for the pups, and maybe even a treat.

Do you take orders?

Yes!

You can talk to us in person at the Bakestand, or fill out an order request on the contact page, and we will contact you. We can make custom orders of any of our bakery items, or other ideas you may have. There is a minimum order requirement.
